Everyone has their preferred default search engine, but if you want a variety of results, checking multiple search engines is the best way to go.

Each search engine has its own way of optimizing and choosing the best results to show you. And while you may see some of the best results among the services, the rest of the first page can give you entirely different websites to check out.

But go individually to different search engines, like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. is not very effective. Instead, there are Android apps that combine all of the most popular search engines together, making it easy to use multiple search engines from one app. Let’s see the best options!

1. Smart search and web browser

When you open Smart Search, you will see a screen that looks a lot like the home screen of a smartphone. There are almost 20 apps that automatically display on the Home screen, but you can change and customize it by choosing your favorite apps to display.

At the top you will see the search bar and the search engine it is currently configured to use. If you swipe left or right, you will see the search engine change. And the great thing is that you can switch search engines even after you’ve done your research, so you don’t have to do separate searches on each engine.

You can easily browse and compare results across all sites.

2. Search engine

The Search Engine app home screen displays all of its available search engines in an easy-to-view format. In total, there are 36 that you can use to find your perfect results.

When you click on a search engine, a dedicated browser page is displayed for that particular search engine. Each browser page will have its own proprietary settings menu that you’ll typically see when using Google or Bing on their direct websites.

Find the best results

For many of us, Google may be the default search engine. And while Google’s algorithms for its search results are quite good, it’s also worth checking out other search engines.

Other search engines may not display as many paid ads or collect as much of your data. Before declaring Google as your search engine of choice, try out others and see what you like and what you don’t like.
